Consumers Union , the non-profit publisher of Consumer Reports, has asked Verizon to clarify its iPhone upgrade policy. Specifically, what options will purchasers of the Verizon iPhone 4 have if a newer iPhone 5 comes out (as Apple's recent history would indicate) this summer—or at any point before a buyer's 2-year contract with the carrier ends?
