iOS 4.2.1 untethered jailbreak released by the Chronic Dev team
The Chronic Dev Team has just released their latest version of the iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak. This version is untethered, meaning you can reboot (power off, then on) your phone without having to use your computer. GreenPois0n RC5 works with all iOS devices running 4.2.1 – the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, but GreenPois0n only works with Mac computers at the moment, so Windows/Linux users, you’re out of luck in the mean time

XOOM and Thunderbolt release dates leaked on Best Buy
According to the Best Buy – Grand Rapids South profile on Facebook, we now have the release dates for the Motorola XOOM Android tablet and HTC Thunderbolt Android phone! It seems like the XOOM keeps getting pushed back – from 14 th to 17 th and now we have the release date placed on the 24 th . Who knows if it’ll change in the future, but for now it looks to be confirmed. As for the Thunderbolt, it will be released on the 14 th – a full 10 days before its predicted 24 th release date, right smack on Valentine’s day

We’re talking about a Wall Street firm estimating that around 15% of the Galaxy Tabs sold are actually returned, which is nearly 700% higher than what the iPad is looking at (2%)
